Got those programs: Wink and Hyper Video Converter.

My problem is that I can't uninstall them for some reasons.

Can't use yum remove (I tried yum remove hypervc with no results) yum remove wink with no results too.

Those programs are in the dash of my Fedora applicationes.

I checked this usr/share/applications. Hyper Converter as well Wink are in there.

If you installed the programs without using yum, you're pretty much on your own. Each program has it's own installation methods, and it is generally difficult to uninstall programs that you install from SOURCE. You may even have to manually remove each binary and the files it installed. It is why we use rpm/yum for package management rather than randomly installing from source.

If you compiled from source:

If it had a "make install" command, try "make uninstall". If that doesn't work, seek out the files it installed manually and remove them.

Hola Ronald, lo ideal seria mostrarme que sucede, por ejemplo que esta causando que no corran las aplicaciones, esta es una forma de ayudarnos a mejorar:

Desde una terminal:

/usr/local/bin/Wink/wink

/usr/bin/hypervc

Ahora para desinstalar (Uninstall):

Hyper Video Converter

cd hypervcinstall-gtk2

./installer.sh -u

Wink

rm /usr/local/bin/Wink/

rm -f /usr/share/applications/Wink.desktop
