I have an ultrabook with touchscreen (a ThinkPad Yoga 15) and Fedora 23, no additional packages to handle screen rotation installed.

Oddily, I can get the system handle automatic screen orientation by accelerometer only if I first suspend and wake up the system.

Is there any known way to improve this behavior so that it works right from login?
