Hi guys. Is there a way to add a keyboard shortcut for right-ctrl?

I use a laptop connected to external keyboard and using VirtualBox I press the right control key to retrieve the use of mouse/keyboard from the virtual machine. The issue is that if I use laptop only without external keyboard, because the keyboard of the laptop is missing the right control key. So I need a way to use a shortcut instead of right-ctrl, but I'm unable to properly set that under keyboard settings.

The right (and easy way) will be to change the hot-key in VirtaulBox setting.

Thank you for the workaround, I know there are many alternatives.

My question was: "Is there a way to add a keyboard shortcut for right-ctrl?"

you can re-map keys if you like, you will need xen and xmomap for that. see the page for example - http://askubuntu.com/questions/24916/...

Ok, it's interesting but I don't want remap some keys.

I really wonder if there a code for right-ctrl to put into the shortcuts settings so, for example, I can use left-ctrl + super instead of right-ctrl.
