Hi, how I can to start mysql in fedora 17?

I've successfully installed with "yum install mysql-server mysql" but when I'm trying to start with "service mysqld Start" this show the message: Redirecting to /bin/systemctl start mysqld.service Job failed. See system logs and 'systemctl status' for details why? there's another way to start??

In order to put that in to your start up or init (Fedora 17 or so),

just type the command as,

systemctl enable mysqld.service

Cheers !
