Very easy :

  1. You need to install GIT :

    • sudo dnf install git
  2. Clone the repo :

    • git clone

this generate a directory call kernel-tests in your home directory...

  1. cd kernel-test

  2. git pull run this fequently to keep the repo updated

  3. run Test script, you have some option, I usually run the follow :

    • minimal - only runs tests in the minimal directory
    • default - runs tests in both minimal and default -> sudo ./
    • stress - runs tests in minimal, default, and stress -> ./ -t stress TAKE CARE OF THIS TEST IS YOUR RUN WITH - SUDO -
    • destructive - runs tests in minimal, default, and destructive
    • performance - runs tests only in the performance directory sudo ./ -t performance
  4. Upload each Logs to this site -> kerneltest from /kernel-tests/logs

each test generate the proper logs an verifyed is PASS or FAIL, if in your old test you get a (PASS) an in the NEW one get a (FAIL) you find a regresion or a problem. I only detec this only one.

Regards and WELCOME...,

is it possible to run regression test on virtual machines, or do they make sense only if running on physical hardware?
