Gnome-boxes cursor disappears

I have installed Windows server 2012 ISO in Gnome Boxes 3.18.1. When I start the virtual machine - the windows loads and asks me for a login. Here everything is OK, I can use the mouse cursor, but after the login the cursor disappears when I move it over the "working area"(where the Windows server is running in Boxes) and the status bar of Boxes says "Press & release (left) Ctrl + Alt to ungrab keyboard". Is this happened to anyone? Any suggestions how to resolve it?

I think I've just had a similar problem (gnome-boxes version 3.26.2). My system could not resume from a suspend and I had to restart it. I launched Boxes and my Windows guest started with a kind of recovery boot menu which appears after wrong shutdowns. I usually use the keyboard to select and choose the menu option, but this time I clicked with the mouse. Don't know if that triggered the problem. Windows started and the mouse pointer disappeared either in Windows guest and also in Boxes (except for the header bar). I closed the guest and Boxes, restarted it again and it works now.
