The first thing you have to check is the proper packages installed on your system.

According to the official site for the software library to communicate iOS devices natively, libimobiledevice, you need the following packages: libimobiledevice, ifuse, libplist and usbmuxd.

Fedora, as a great operating system, got these packages in their official repo. The command to install them is:

su -c "yum install libimobiledevice ifuse libplist usbmuxd"

Hope this information helps you.

Regards!

Another thing. @potty, you need to have >1.6 version of libimobiledevice, otherwise the "Trust this computer?" loop with occur.
