I had fedora 18 and then I installed windows 8 afterwards. I now cant boot into fedora because grub was replaced by the windows bootloader. I created a f18 live cd and opened a terminal. I tried to reinstall grub using the following command: grub2-install /dev/sdb1p1 I also tried grub2-install /dev/sda1 with no luck in both cases, I get the following message: Path `/boot/grub2' is not readable by GRUB on boot. Installation is impossible. Aborting. I have no clue why that's so. Does anyone have any clue? Please help. I case it helps, here's what i got from fdisk -l

You have to install grub into the MBR, so

grub2-install /dev/sdb

or

grub2-install /dev/sda
