Hello. I have ubuntu on my system. I have one partition 20G as root and 3G for swap and 137 as home. I have some files in home folder which I want to keep them and I can delete other files related to ubuntu. What's your suggestion for me? I want change this appropriate to Fedora. Just keep in mind I want to have home folder as a huge partition (I insist not to change partition of home).

Use the same swap, create a root partition for Fedora with 40GB, and another home with 10GB for example.

Keep the other partitions.

A installation of Fedora requires a minimum of 10 GB of disc space.

After a long time now I'm ready to migrate to Fedora. You said me choose 40G as root and 10G as another Home. I have a folder in my Home and that's all I want. I mean, it's possible to delete other files in Home directory. Then, is it possible to replace my ubuntu Home with Fedora Home ? Another question is all space I have except Home directory, is root folder which is 20G. If it's going to be 40G as my root, so I should resize the Home directory too. What should I do ? I'm very new in Fedora and in addition I want a simple tutorial for installing Fedora :)

Have you considered simply removing all partitions (Ubuntu) and simply install Fedora?
