I have read that just by selecting DSL option in Network connections and entering username and password it is possible to connect.

But in my Fedora 17 the DSL tab isn't there. does it need any drivers or stuff like that as my windows 7 needs network driver to work.

I am a perfect noob please help me out I am not able to connect to the internet on my fedora 17 any help is most welcome.
