Hi,

I have got an Epson scanner (Perfection V200 Photo)

firmware for this scanner seems to be available in iscan-firmware package : https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/acls/name/iscan-firmware

But I don't know how to bind this firmware with my hardware.

$ sane-find-scanner
found USB scanner (vendor=0x04b8 [EPSON], product=0x012e [EPSON Scanner]) at libusb:001:002

$ scanimage -L

return nothing

Is there someone who use iscan-firmware package and is there some configuration needed ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You need to update /etc/sane.d/snapscan.conf

Look for the line that says

firmware /usr/share....

Replace that with the appropriate firmware file for your scanner.

Have you tried the "simple scan" application in gnome? Does it work?
