I'm running XP right now, looking to get back to the brighter side of life.

I grabbed the latest Fedora-18-Alpha-x86_64-netinst.iso from Used the latest Fedora LiveUSB Creator to put the image on my flash drive. I reboot, and get to the install menu. Either choice brings me to the same sad ending...

Unable to boot root Type journalctl to view log. Exit shell to continue.

The log just shows me lots of kernel chatter, and that nothing mounted.

Has anybody been able to boot 18aplpha64 from a flash drive yet?

IIRC, the Atom CPU on Aspire One is 32bit, you should probably retry with i686 iso, also Fedora 20 final has been released while ago and usb boot was tested (part of QA).
