Hi everyone,

This is my first question i ask here in askfedoraproject, and i just love this forum and the UI is great and too easy to handle. Thanks a lot.

Here is my question:- I am running Fedora 16 (Verne) with Gnome 3.2 and i have HDMI port in my HP laptop. 1. Connected LAPTOP with TV via HDMI 2. Audio / Video works fine and also produced in TV too.

The problem now is not when i play any audio or video via browser (eg:- Youtube) i does not get sound in TV, whereas i get sound when i play audio / video files stored in my laptop. How can i get sound in TV for videos played in browser ( I use Chromium 17 and Firefox 13, both doesn't produce sound in TV but i can able to get sound in Laptop). In Sound settings, i have chose " Digital Stereo (HDMI) Output + Analog Stereo Input ". I hope my settings are correct. Thanks in advance.

This is kernel problem, but that time with that kernel wasn't ready the HDMI audio out fix, only with later kernels are supporting correctly that mode. Please use and fully updated F17 system, and you can experience lot of improvements.
