Hi i have dilema. Should i use fde for /root /home and /data partitions, or should i just encrypt /data partition. I heard that if i encrypt /root and /home that my system performance will fell down dramatically and that my system will run much slower. So i need advice. I would like to my full system be encrypted but if i lose on performance that is not what i want. Other option is to encrypt only /data partition, so my system will run normally, only slower when i access /data partition. So please help me, give some advice, and your experience with fde.

Does fde mean "Full Disk Encryption", or do you prefer a different meaning? If you use the encryption option in the Fedora installer, that's what you get, and on modern systems the performance impact is negligible.
