Hello I am using fedora 23. the option to connect to a mobile network showed up out of nowhere. i was able to configure it to connect to tmobile without any account info and it worked. i was able to see the mobile broadband in network and everything. it worked for about 5-10 minutes then it was gone and have not been able to get it back since. i do not have a mobile USB dongle and my laptop does not have any sim card in it. it was weird. i was wondering if anyone can help me find that setting again or atleast help figure out why it let me in the first place. my laptop is a MSI GP60 2QE Leopard. Thanks.

It is very strange that your laptop was able to authenticate with Tmobile mobile network without a SIM in the laptop. My guess is, may be you connected to a "Tmobile" hotspot via Wifi instead of Mobile broadband.

Thats what i thought too but i am connected to the WiFi at work and it shows up as a separate adapter in the network settings. it just happened again right now when i turned on my laptop. it did not stay up as long as it did before. i took screen shots of it and it was gone.
