what is the correct driver in fedora 22

is there a list of wireless cards and drivers that i can look up? here is my info 08:00.0 Network controller: Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01) DeviceName: AR5007 802.11b/g WiFi Adapter Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company U98Z062.10 802.11bgn Wireless Half-size Mini PCIe Card driver that is not working is Kernel driver in use: ath9k Kernel modules: ath9k

Atheros and Broadcom have some nics that uses propietary drivers so you need to install rpmfusion.org and akmod-wl. Hope it help. Good luck

well the correct driver is ath9k. I solved my issue by installing NetworkManager-wifi. I would still like to find a list of cards and linux drivers.

dnf install NetworkManager-wifi

logout login
