I have tried finding my own answer to my question but the closest I got was from the link ^above^.

I am trying to figure out a major difference between standard and administrator accounts. I know that:

Standard accounts require root's password for installing applications and stuff. Administrator accounts do not require root's password for installing applications and stuff.

But then again, even while using an administrator account, in terminal, you still have to enter root's password for su (but not sudo).

Is an administrator account in standard user mode but then just "sudos" actions that require root? (Like skipping entering the root password when installing applications)

Is it okay to use an administrator account on a daily basis? Because I do a lot of tweaking for a few days while getting fedora how I want it but I have to enter my password all of the time (and it is a 17 digit password). An administrator account saves me time... but is it secure enough to always use? Even with SELinux enabled? Thanks for any explanations!!

An Administrator account is just a regular user account that's been given access to sudo so that you can do some, or even all of the things that root can do without actually needing to know the root password. In fact, in some Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, there isn't any root password by default and all administrative tasks are done that way. Fedora requires you to set a root password at installation, but once your system is up and running, you can, if you prefer, make your regular account an Administrator and never use the root password again. Personally, I prefer not to do things that way, but it's simply a matter of taste.
