I have a problem, I have successfully installed flash player, but if I run firefox or chrome with my user does not work flash tells me that the plugin has failed, but if I open firefox or chrome as root flash player works fine (sudo firefox), any idea how fix this?

Stop running your browser as root. It's not acceptable, ever. It is a HUGE security problem, especially with third party plugins like Flash installed. In addition, running a browser as root can cause file ownership issues, so that files, such as, are inaccessible to normal users.

Hi friend try it: make a script: you can make with gedit (copy paste)and run it as root.

rpm -ivh

rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-adobe-linux

username=$(zenity --entry --text="Username"); echo "username = $username"

su $username -c 'yum -y install flash-plugin'

when ask you user name write you user name

Can you please retry? I know for a fact that those instructions work well. You need to restart your browser to have flash running too.

It's difficult to debug this here. Please head to #fedora on and get this resolved. Please do post the solution here once done.
