Hi, I am thinking of equipping my Thinkpad X230 with an additional hard drive, using the mSATA port.

Has anyone here experience with doing so? Is this easily support by Fedora?

Are there any restrictions to this kind of configuration or does it just work as if it was another SATA drive? (I somewhere read that this hdd can be used for cache only which I don't want to.)

I am using a mSATA SSD on my X220 and have no Problems at all. It just works like a regular SATA SSD.

So I guess it will just work fine on the X230.
