rpmfusion for F23 enables testing repositories

After the upgrade to F23, I noticed that rpmfusion-free-updates-testing and rpmfusion-nonfree-updates-testing repositories were enabled. Initially I thought I did something wrong in the past and enabled the regular updates repos for rpmfusion. But after I activated rpmfusion on a fresh F23 install, I recognized the same behavior.

Does someone know why rpmfusion uses the testing repositories by default for now? And would it be better to use the regular or testing repositories for rpmfusion?

rpmfusion is independent of Fedora and maintained by volunteers. The packages tend to lag after a new release , either they are not immediately available (nvidia for example) or they may be delayed.

Over time there will be more packages will be tested and they will be moved from -testing to the regular repository.

Either wait for them to sort it out, volunteer your time to help with the packages you use (packaging / testing), or wait a few months before you upgrade (and check availability in rpmfusion).

is not the default, but RPMFusion is delayed when RPMFusion F23 is ready it will make a release and we will have updates by default and not updates-testing , but now still in a beta state.

That's a very serious problem indeed. The best (and possibly only) way to get it fixed is to go to the rpmfusion bugzilla and open up a ticket.

Anything wrong with disabling the rpmfusion*testing repos and enabling rpmfusion-free-updates and rpmfusion-nonfree-updates ???

@Glenn - as the OP indicated, at the moment rpmfusion activates -testing repos, likely to make packages available at this time, awaiting the vetting process to move them into stable. You really should ask rpmfusion as they are independent of Fedora.
