fedora 22 - display not returning from standby

Just installed fedora 22 on my hp pavillion x360 (11-n011dx). Everything appears to functioning appropriately except for when the machine goes to sleep. When the machine goes to sleep, I am currently unable to log back into the machine as the display just stays back.

Up to this point, I've verified that it isn't just the brightness defaulting to 0 and I've tried any button combo I can think of to try to get it to come back. The only way I've found to get back into the machine is by hard powering it off and then powering back on.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of what I may need to adjust to get this functioning properly?

Video Card information for reference :

[spawk@mini ~]$ lspci | grep VGA 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Atom Processor Z36xxx/Z37xxx Series Graphics & Display (rev 0e)

I've also recently done a dnf update to verify everything is up to date and that wasn't the issue.

This may not be a resolution to the problem, but it's at least a workaround for now. Adding the following line to grub has fixed my issue:

video.use_native_backlight=0
