Hi There,

I'm a complete noob to fedora, but I love the distro, the only problem I'm having is I cant load and of my graphics drivers, my laptop has Intel HD 4600 graphics as well as an Nvidia 950M GPU,

I've installed Fedora 22 MATE

This is the laptop:

I've used "Intel Graphics Installer for Linux" for the Intel Card:

And This tutorial for the Nvidia Card:

If I install both MATE wont work, And if I install either of them by themselves the it just doesn't work.

If I run "lspci -k | grep -i vga" I get this:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 06)

However if i just run lspci -k | grep -i 3d I get this:

01:00.0 3D controller: NVIDIA Corporation GM107M [GeForce GTX 950M] (rev a2)

So I know the system sees the hardware but I can seem to get the right drivers to get the system to work properly...

I've tried all the tutorials I can find please can someone help me, I really dont want to go back to Ubuntu or Windows over a stupid driver problem...

Thanks in advance :)

That nvidia tutorial gives terrible advice. Please look at any other post here discussing nvidia drivers to learn a better way.

Yes. Use the guide I linked to in the duplicate of this question. BTW, as this is a duplicate, I'm closing it. Please don't do this again.

My bad I'm new to this, didn't mean to duplicate it, thought it didn't go through the first time #ThirdWorldProblems
