Cant make fedora run outside the virtual machine

asked 2015-10-23 20:14:25 -0500

I have 2 machines, 1 is a desktop box I build myself with windows 10, the other is a thoshiba cosmio with windows 7; I installed fedora 22 as virtual machines in both computers with no problems, I also played a bit with the live image and I decided to full install it. I tryed first with the desktop, it has a 1 gb hd, 8gb ram, i7 2400k, a nvidia card etc. but I couldnt partition the 50gb chunk I reserved for fedora. After a few tryes I just gave up and tryed with the laptop: fedora installs fine but it doesnt boot, it just crashes to a black screen after I hit enter on the grub screen. Am I doing something wrong?

Does it even start filling up the fedora balloon after you have passed the grub screen? If it does, can you press ESC button and look for any errors?
