What I'm going to write now is sacrilege but it works:

  1. Let’s work from your Downloads folder.

    cd ~/Downloads

  2. Download the Ubuntu Fonts package from Ubuntu.

  3. Extra the downloaded zip file.

  4. Rename the extracted directory. (Not a must)

    mv ubuntu-font-family-0.80 ubuntu-font-family

  5. Copy the extracted directory to the system shared fonts directory.

    su -c 'cp -rv ubuntu-font-family /usr/share/fonts/'

  6. Set the permissions for the directory you just moved.

    su -c 'chmod 755 /usr/share/fonts/ubuntu-font-family'

  7. Scan and build the fonts cache files for the new Ubuntu files.

    cd /usr/share/fonts su -c ‘fc-cache ubuntu-font-family’

  8. Install

    sudo yum install gnome-tweak-tool

  9. Execute gnomw-tweak-tool

Now from the same application (Add/Remove Software) search and install “gnome-tweak-tool”. You will need this tool to configure the system font options. Download the Ubuntu font family, and extract the zip on a folder you will create under your home directory and name “.fonts”. Be aware that this folder will be hidden so make sure you will setup nautilus to show hidden files (view/show hidden files) before you create the folder.

Now open the “Advanced Settings” application (that is the gnome-tweak-tool), and choose Ubuntu fonts, slight Hinting and Rgba antialiasing

Have a great time tweaking your new Fedora system!

NOTE : "Please read the UBUNTU FONT LICENCE for all the rules that govern the use of the fonts."
