I've recently been trying to install fedora on my late '09 iMac but have run into a bit of a snag. I'm booting from a USB that has the Fedora 17 image on it. The problem is I can't get the installer to recognize my magic mouse (or bluetooth keyboard). So I can't start the installation process.

I would suggest you to try to boot again, and before select the default boot option, press tab, and remove/delete the quiet boot option, and see if there is any annoying message related to your bluetooth device ;)
