Your PC will explode :-P :-D [just kidding] If you know what you're doing and you do it right, you will see no change unless you have hardware which needs driver modules available only in 4.x. Why would you want to downgrade the kernel to previous fedora release? The safest way to play with kernel (apart from the mentioned above device drivers issues) is to play with virtual installation e.g. gnome-boxes, virt-manager, virtualbox etc.
