MOTD One request would be to return the old Message of the Day (MOTD) to the logon page (greeter page). (my wife, 2 sons, daughter, 3 grandchildren and I share three identically configured computers in a common area. I would like to post to the greater screen (logon screen) a message of the day, (Example message "System is required at xx hours for software updating, or other message that is important for the user to see before logging in)

Hide User Another feature would be the ability to hide the admin or any user name from appearing on the logon page (join root as a hidden user)

Fedora Tweaks We have Gnome tweaks. Can we think of having Fedora tweaks? The gnome system setup page is missing a lot of stuff that even a windows user has available to him. (date format, starting day in the week to correspond to cron, etc.)

Alternate install methods. I have a multi-boot environment with multiple drives. Is there not a way, of directly launching a new installation of Fedora from the existing executing Fedora? If I do not want to run Fedup, why do I have to burn an iso to a flashdrive and boot the flashdrive? I just want to run a Fedora program. I point it to the downloaded iso image without going through the time consuming "burn to flash/DVD and boot the flash/DVD, emulate the liveCD install process.

Why not take the above one step further and use such a program to download and install the iso as a onestep process.

Kickstart File Why can we not have a copy of the kickstart file that is used for the network install of the next Fedora version?

I would then unselect the groups that are not of interest to me. I would add my applications. I would use this file to create a DVD to hand out to new Linux users. We have a BOF linux group that meets monthly. Ubuntu is doing a bang-up job there, I want to entice users to try Fedora. Most of the BOF people are sys-admins or university/college students in IT and some die-hards like me. Its a bilingual meeting (French and English and friendly)

Kickstart Builder. Why can I not have an application that I can run every month to create a personal kickstart file from my existing system. (Does such a program exist?).

I'm not sure if AskFedora is good place for feature requests, consider filling a bug (RFE) in bugzilla instead -- https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Bugs_a...

We have it ;) Kickstart file generated from installation is located in /root/anaconda-ks.cfg

There is tool called system-config-kickstart but it doesn't support reading data from existing system.
