Have Broadcom Corporation BCM4360 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter (rev 03) on my 2015 Macbook Pro. Was working fine (after installing driver from fusion) until a recent update, now it will not work. I can access internet via wired connection, but not ideal. I have tried re-installing the kmod-wl package from fusion, but the system says it is already installed. I have tried re-installing Fedora 22, but the result is the same. I even tried installing Fedora 23 Beta, but the Fusion packages will not install (version 22 or rawhide). I installed Linux Mint and my wireless was fine, and currently I have downgraded to Fedora 21, and the wifi is working.

Any ideas?

You need to install akmod-wl and remove kmod-wl. Kmod-wl contains the drive for specific kernel while akmod-wl contain the source and compile a new driver when new kernel is installed that way you do not depend on rpmfusion to have a new compile driver when you upgrade kernel. This happen because Fedora update kernels faster than rpmfusion update the drivers.

Good Luck

Your issue with Fedora 23 could be due to the Broadcom driver no longer working with Linux >= 4.2 without additional patches (also rpmfusion does not yet support F23).

I wrote a short shell script that automates the patching and installation of the broadcom-wl driver on the latest Fedora 23 beta. See here for details: https://onpub.com/install-broadcom-li...
