Gnome Dash is sometimes incomplete

Since I am on Fedora 22 (after upgrade from Fedora 21), I noticed that my Gnome dash is sometimes incomplete. It is then only showing part of the icons that are actually placed there.

Here are two screenshots: The left one shows the "reduced" dash with 7 starters and the "All Applications" icon. The right one shows my regular dash with all icons.

Unfortunately, I haven't figured out on how to reproduce this bug.

image description vs. image description Any ideas what could be the problem here?

All of these applications are under your favorites or only some of them?

The same situation happens to me!! Don't know how to reproduce it...

@paladini: All icons showing are my favorites (you can also tell by the blue dot which appears only on active apps).

@skytux: Should we file a bug?

@Florian: it is not clear to me if this is a bug or a feature... but sure, go ahead and file a bug, it is the only way to know!! :-)

I think this is a bug.

You can see the VLC icon is cut in half.

Being under so much heavy development, I have a feeling that this will be fixed in 3.18.

Let's wait and see! Good catch with the cut VLC icon!

This bug has already been filed on Gnome's bugzilla. Gnome team is aware of it but doesn't know what causes this behavior, so it hasn't been fixed in 3.17.9x thus will very likely not be fixed when Gnome 3.18 will be released next week.
