I have got Verne running two desktop environments (Gnome and KDE Plasma). My application list is so populated and its getting tougher day by day.

Is it possible to list Gnome specific applications/ ignore KDE applications?

Edit: I have tried to search the applications by entering the query but it hangs once I hit the next letter. Is it because of the large pool of applications installed? Is it a bug in Gnome 3.2? Has this problem occurred to any of you?

I don't think so :/ It will list whatever applications it finds, irrespective of DE. There may be a way to tweak the application list and remove stuff manually, but I haven't heard of this (yet). I use the search bar generally, instead of scrolling through the application list. Will that work for you?
