After installing KDE Connect (version 0.8.6) from Fedora's own repositories I keep getting the same error message when I try to use it from System Settings: "Failed to execute program org.kde.kdeconnect: Success".

A Google search reveals that this problem also appeared in the past but it offers no solutions. Disabling SELinux or the Firewall yielded the same results.

How can I diagnose what went wrong?

This has been fixed. Please update the kde-connect package from updates-testing.

Bugzilla seems to be down so I am unable to find the bug report for you. You could search for closed kde-connect issues.
