I've installed fedora and windows 7 on my computer. I upgraded to fedora 18 from 18 with Fedup Network option. When am starting my laptop, it doesn't boot completely but stops and gives me a dark bluish screen right after the Grub screen exits. It boots however when I choose the option of Fedora Linux Advanced Settings, 3.03... Kernel but fails if I choose the 3.0.7... option. How do I get through this?

Perform an yum update using the old kernel. Then reboot.

# systemctl isolate multiuser.target

# yum -y update

# reboot
