I have a strange problem with Fedora 22. It freezes completely randomly. The closest issue I could find to a match of the problem:

.. and although there is a answer, I can't make any sense of it. The closest one on this site was

... but I cant make any sense of that answer either :/

It might be related to power saving features. And It is a real showstopper. The computer freeze 4-5 times a day.

Thanks for any help :)

What kind of graphics card do you have in your computer? I had similar problem with my machine until I installed proprietary nvidia drivers (since I use nvidia card).

A little more research may show that it's not connected to powersaving...

Since the log is too long to post here, you may have a look at a post I have created on Fedora Forums:

It looks like it may be connected to the memory issues. Have you tried performing memory check on that machine? :-/

I have the same exact problem, and don't know where to start diagnosing. I can leave my laptop unattended and it will hang. Occasionally it will hang coming out of suspend. This only happend with newer versions of the kernel >4.1.

Same problem here, Linux Fedora 22.3 downloaded and installed a few days ago, randomly completely freezes my hardware: Asus P5KC 8 GB RAM, NVidia GeForce GTX 660 2 GB RAM (have not installed the NVidia driver yet), SATA connection to disks. This hardware during various hours per day is currently running Win 8.1 with no problems and has been running various versions of various Linux distributions with no problems at all (including Fedora).

It hasn't frozen in the last 9 days, that is since the day I wrote my previous comment.

It's possible that some update solved it, this Fedora has been installing updates quite smoothly.

Well it froze 5 days ago once, later the graphics screen got full of little black squares... nothing else since :)
