I've got Fedora 22 running on an Dell XPS 13 (2015) with Intel graphics (Broadwell-U). Most everything works perfectly, however every time I attempt to run an application utilizing 3D acceleration, the application seems to spontaneously close after a minute or two. I've attempted VirtualBox with the 3D acceleration extensions (Windows 7 Pro guest OS FWIW), VMWare with the same guest, as well as a few games in 3D from Steam. I currently have the most recent xorg-x11-drv-intel package (2.99.917-12.20150615.fc22) installed, but I also tried rolling back to the prior version (2.99.917-6.20150211), with no change in behaviour. I'm also on Fedora's most current kernel (4.1.3-200). I tested the same applications under kernel vmlinuz-4.0.4-301 with no change. Any input would be most appreciated. I can provide any logs if necessary.

Welcome to ask.fedora. You should have abrt, the Automatic Bug Reporting Tool installed and available through your System Menu. If you haven't checked it, please do so and see what, if anything, it has to report about these crashes. Either edit your question to add the info or add a comment because you only get one answer per question. (You can also use abrt to report bugs, but you'll need an account at Bugzilla for that.)
