Hi guys

There used to be a scanning software (Simple scan) that came pre-installed with Fedora, now its no more available! I wonder why it was removed.

look here. it is planned for

  • f21 (previous release)
  • f22 (current release)
  • f23 (next release)
  • rawhide (f24?)

so it was not removed

try

dnf -v info simple-scan

Simple Scan is not part of a fresh Fedora 22 install. Sure, it is easy to install but not shipped by default.

That's what you meant with pre-installed, @anishjp?
