i have hp 2000 2d29tu notebook , currently i am using windows 8 (uefi). can i install fedora robotics suite in dual boot with windows 8 ?

Yes.

To make it safer to access the Windows filesystem, I disabled “Fast Startup,” as per: http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/...

I then shut down and booted the LiveUSB, and installed GPartEd (sudo dnf install gparted) into the running (Live) system. From GPartEd, I resized the existing Windows partition to make free space, then (for paranoia) rebooted into Windows, and then shut down again. (To make sure all was well.)

Then, I ran the LiveCD and installed as usual. The Fedora bootloader (Grub) added a menu item for “Windows 8 (loader) (/dev/sda2)” (or something like that).

First test if your wifi works with your Fedora Robotics DVD then you can make space and install in dual boot with no problem. Please read al recommendations for the dual boot on windows 8.
