IMPORTANT UPDATE: I have fixed the problem i mentioned by disabling SELinux! Now i have another problem :). The F18 strongswan Package doesn't include eap-identity and eap-mschap-v2! Is it included in any F18-testing or Rawhide Repo? Or should i do a uninstall->compile from source? The EAP-Modules are important i think so it would be cool if those are included, how can in file a REQUEST for a Package? PLUS: The F18 strongswan-NetworkManager RPM is broken!! It just includes a charon-nm file and nothing else ... i took the deb from ubuntu repos and edited the config where need by hand, this is imho a bug!

I try to get strongswan working under Fedora18! When i try to establish a connection it always fails with:

Jan 26 15:28:30 dm-think charon-nm: 07[IKE] unable to allocate SPIs from kernel

i tried to figure it out myself and it has propably something todo with kernel modules. So i tried to load the following modules by hand:

modprobe nfnetlink xfrm_ipcomp ah4 xfrm4_mode_tunnel xfrm4_mode_beet esp4 ipcomp xfrm4_mode_transport xt_policy xfrm6_ipcomp ipcomp6 esp6 ah6 xfrm6_mode_tunnel xfrm6_mode_beet xfrm6_mode_transport af_key

are their any other modules required for strongswan (they provice a list here:

Can anybody help me or is this a known problem? Any other ideas?

You should file bugs at our bugzilla instance. You can also file RFE (Request for enhancements).

Quick tip: To view information about a specific package, you can use:<packagename>, therefore should take you to the page for strongswan.
