Running Fedora 22 Music 3.16.1.

There is gigabytes of music (mostly mp3 files) in ~/Music

Rhythmbox can see and play it without any problem.

Gnome Music sits still saynig 'No Music Found. The contents of your music folder will appear here'

Is something wrong? How do I set it right?

@deshmukh: Can you please start gnome-music from a terminal and let me know if you get the same error message? Thanks!

Hi, I suspect some issues with the tracker database. This fixed the issue on my Fedora23:

$ tracker daemon -t $ tracker daemon -s

Hope it helps.

Probably because you don't have tracker enabled. Open Settings, then click Search, then click the wheel at the bottom right and finally turn Music on.
