Hi

Fedora 22 and Steam

Steam is not a "free" software. So steam will not be included in any official fedora repositories.

You might have better luck installing it from Fedy.

$ su -c "curl https://satya164.github.io/fedy/fedy-installer -o fedy-installer && chmod +x fedy-installer && ./fedy-installer"
$ fedy

I would agree - I have Steam on F22 and installed from Fedy. On the plus side, it seems to run a lot faster than on Ubuntu :D

Does the error looks like this?

Running Steam on fedora 22 64-bit STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(0) libGL error: unable to load driver: radeonsi_dri.so libGL error: driver pointer missing libGL error: failed to load driver: radeonsi libGL error: unable to load driver: swrast_dri.so libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast

Then you have to launch steam using this:

LD_PRELOAD='/usr/$LIB/libstdc++.so.6' DIAPLAY=:0 steam
