Do I have a bug or has the digital clock in KDE(Fedora 21) changed?

I have some Fedora systems. I just built another one but it display's the digital clock differently than the others, it's quite annoying because I like it more as it was before.

Here it is on the new system: image description

Here it is as it should be/is on the older installs:

image description

Notice that the time is displayed above the date and this is the behaviour/look I want. And also note that it doesn't matter what date-format I choose, the new system always displays the time beside the date instead above.

If this is not a bug but something that has changed, why hasn't it changed on my older systems(all updates)?

Note I also have this problem in a Fedora 21 virtual-machine in VirtualBox and the selected answer/fix doesn't work there because the panel has to be sized so large that all the buttons/icons in the panel become huge and it looks terrible.

Mine looks like the second image on Fedora 22 and I'd like to have it shown as the first one (see comment on answer below).

Hi, if you increase height of panel, you will fix your issue .

If panel can't write in 2 lines, will write in 1 , so you may choose, on digital clock setting, other font (smaller) to tip on panel etc .

Actually, mine (Fedora 22 KDE spin) shows the date underneath the time, even on a very small bar so that it becomes unreadable. I tried to put it next to it, but there is no option for it. There is also no option to only show the date so that I could two widgets next to each other. So now I'm stuck without the date.
