I've got some trouble getting my T440s working probably with f22. There is no module loaded for my wifi,

03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless 7260 (rev 83)

trying to load the module by hand, with insmod or modprobe fails, iwlwifi, nor iwldvm are found. The ucode-files are in the right directory,

/usr/lib/firmware/iwlwifi-7260-10.ucode
/usr/lib/firmware/iwlwifi-7260-12.ucode
/usr/lib/firmware/iwlwifi-7260-7.ucode
/usr/lib/firmware/iwlwifi-7260-8.ucode
/usr/lib/firmware/iwlwifi-7260-9.ucode

Booted f21 live to check if there is a hardware fault, but everything is working fine there. On f21 I had a rawhide-kernel (4.1.0-rc5) maybe that messed something up? My kernel right now is:

[root@t440s ~] $ uname -r
4.0.4-303.fc22.x86_64

Where is the point things got messed up? What have I done wrong?

Downgrading iwl7260-firmware and linux-firmware didn't help either...

There is no sign of the card in dmesg, booted with 4.0.4-303.fc22.x86_64 and 4.1.0-0.rc6.git0.1.fc23.x86_64

Got my answer in: https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/ques... there was posted a question if kernel-modules were installed. In my case that package was missing.

Everything's fine now! Check your installed packages with dnf list installed | grep kernel for missing ones.
