I upgrade my Fedora from 20, then 21 and finally 22 now. As a result, there are lots of legacy packages remained for Fedora 20 and 21 in my system. Is it safe to remove them? Here's the list

[frederick@Frederick-PC ~]$ sudo dnf list installed | grep fc20

Fedora 22 is using some Fedora 21 packages, so if you want to remove them be careful

The F20 packages look safe to remove. I don't have any on my system. My F22 install has similar F21 packages to yours.

Well I have other ruby and python related packages from Fedora 20 on my system the only one we both have is aic94xx-firmware.noarch

if you got system updated :

dnf list extras

Will give you the list of packages that you can remove safely i.e. will list package that doesn't belong to Fedora repos , attention , that also list package that wasn't updated yet .

dnf distro-sync like after upgrade with fedup to be syncro

package-cleanup --orphans to get the list of orphaned packages ( not present in repo )
