I have Ubuntu 15.04 w Cinnamon GUI desktop running (no partitions, no Windows). How do I remove Ubuntu 15.04 off my Dell XPS-12 laptop and replace it with a clean install, full installation of the new Fedora 22? I'm still rather a newbie, but I can do a few sudo commands in the terminal. Why Fedora? I took an introductory Red Hat Linux 6.0 2-day continuing education course offered back in 2002 at Kennesaw State University and loved the course. Wish such introductory and intermediate Fedora courses could materialize today as I'd like to attend the classes.

Fedora has a bunch of really good tutorials. You should follow one of them to get the installation you want (like this one, fedora-21-workstation-installation).

In step 10 you just need to choose automatic partitioning and to free additional space. Then delete all your existing partitions and proceed.
