I installed Fedora 22 on my laptop (Dell Vostro 3460) and find out that my Wi-Fi adapter is not recognized. after some search I see that there is a problem with the Atheros AR8161 / Broadcom BCM43142 drivers for the Linux. I found out some solutions for Ubuntu (*.deb), but nothing for Fedora (*.rpm). How can I make my Wi-Fi working? Please, provide step-by-step manual.

P.S. It's very strange that the newest Fedora 22 / Linux Kernel 4.0 don't support the hardware of 3 years old laptop out-of-box.

Well, did you try installing kmod-wl? Restart your machine after that.

Looks relevant, I'll check the module. BTW, what is the difference between the Atheros AR8161 and Broadcom BCM43142?
