Unable to install and use gcc in fedora 21?

I am trying to install gcc on my fedora 21. But, it didn't come preinstalled.. The following error is seen. Please Help!!

You have a package conflict. You may have a software repository installed that is no compatible with other software repositories you have. You can use yum to inquire about which repositories you have, try yum repolist.

You may also find out more about the specific conflicts and which repositories are providing the conflicted packages by attempting the install directly through yum:

yum install gcc

if you can't work it out from that, then post up the output and we'll help.
