Hi,

is it possible to run a CentOS guest on a Fedora 22 alpha Host using LXC? If so: How? More specifically, how would I bootstrap the guest?

Thanks,

Jochen

Yes, you can do this using Docker, on your host, run the commands:

$ sudo yum -y install docker

$ sudo systemctl enable docker.service

$ sudo systemctl start docker.service

$ sudo docker pull centos

$ sudo docker run -i -t centos /bin/bash

For more information, please check in docker.com .

Fedora ships with Gnome Boxes pre-installed, which is a GUI program for running virtual machines. This is Gnome Boxes on Fedora 21 with a CentOS ISO:

gnome boxes

Not sure if it is suitable for your needs though.
