Good morning, searching on google I saw that you can do on the computer one multiterminal. More like to know how I can do this? What do I need or what I need to configure?

You can only make a fedora multiterminal with this equipment the video above? Thanks in advance!

The devices shown in these videos effectively add an additional video card, sound card (on some devices, an additional ethernet port) and USB hub. Internally they use video chips from a company called Display Link. It is this additional video device that makes it possible to create a multiseat environment.

Unfortunately there is limited support for the USB 2 version of these video drivers in Linux, and ZERO support for the USB 3 version. See this link for discussion of support and possible configuration - it includes a link to a forum thread on the Display Link website which discusses the lack of USB 3 support

If you want to try this, it must be a USB 2 based device - even then, I would recommend trying it first (or ensure you can return the device). I wish you good luck if you do try.

I have a modern Dell laptop and wanted a docking station for it. Unfortunately, I bought a USB 3 based docking station without investigating first, and for a variety of reasons I can't return it. I had become complacent in recent years, not having problems with compatibility of other devices I have purchased. I assumed that because it was USB and that Linux has good support for USB built-in, that it would just work - lesson learnt!

I have some consolation in that the Gigabit Ethernet, sound/mic, USB 2 and 3 ports all work, but not the video ports - which was one of the main reasons I wanted it.
