screen flickering when install fedora21

When get to the install GUI, screen begins flickering very quickly. Same issue happens when I try to install EvolveOS beta1.1.

I am using an old Compaq nc8430, lspci | grep VGA shows: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices[AMD] nee ATI M56P [Radeon Mobility X1600]

How can I solve this?

Hi,

I am having the same problem. I think it’s a kernel problem: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug....

You might try the following tips but it did not work for me:

Try to boot with a Linux kernel 3.14 or older.
