Please tell me how to install c# in fedora 21. Please! edit : I need to make a game in C# and I have no books or tuts with me. I'll be grateful if you could suggest a resource material to make an FPS game or a racing game. Thank you in advance.

Hello! Do you have any special reason to use C# for your game? If not, maybe you got to do something else.

You need a game engine. Unreal Engine 4 is a good one and have a tutorial on how to build on Linux ( ). In this case, the guide is specific to Ubuntu, but you can do the proper passwords on your Fedora.

If you don't want anything complex, you could use PyGame ( ) which I think is very easy to use and there's a lot of documentation to learn about it.

In case you still want to use C#, you will have to use MonoDevelop ( ) or Eclipse with Emonic ( ). Both of them on Fedora repositories.

Best regards!

Since you asked... I actually have to develop a good game on OpenGL, and language of my preference is C# since I am obligated to do this project on microsoft visual studio 2008

Hello, i think that mono is a good option, this is a complete IDE for C# and other languages, if you decide install just run this:

su -c 'yum install monodevelop'

un abrazo :)
