llvm man pages

asked 2015-03-04 18:25:59 -0500

I have the following packages installed:

llvm-3.5.0-6.fc21.i686
llvm-doc-3.5.0-6.fc21.noarch
llvm-devel-3.5.0-6.fc21.i686
llvm-libs-3.5.0-6.fc21.i686
llvm-static-3.5.0-6.fc21.i686

Still, I'm unable to access llvm manpages:

% man llvm
No manual entry for llvm
% man llc
No manual entry for llc

How do I install these manpages?

try rpm -qd $packagename or apropos llvm . The documentation may not come in manpage format.

None of these turn up anything useful.

It is what it is. rpm -qd $package shows you all of the documentation included in that package. If it doesn't show a manpage, that's because there is not a manpage. The llvm-doc package, for example, has dozens of files in usr/share/doc/llvm-doc/examples .
